The inventor of the Eskimo pie.  I-Scream-Bar was what it was originally called.  Christian had a small boy come in to his ice cream shop, they boy wanted both a chocolate bar and a scoop of ice cream to wedge between.  Christian thus invented the I-Scream-bar in 1921.  In 1922 Christian patented his idea and renamed it the Eskimo Pie with the help of Russell Stover the candy tycoon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FLORENCE “GRIFFITH” JOYNER

AKA: FLO JO

Born: December 21, 1959

Died: September 21, 1998

Cause: epileptic seizure and asphyxiation.

 

Location: Los Alisos, Block 34, Lot 4, Space 4

 

Florence Griffith Joyner was one of the leading runners in the 1984 Olympics.  She won the medal for 200 meter dash in 1984.  In 1987 she married champion jumper Al Joyner and had one daughter.  She died in her sleep in 1998 from an epileptic seizure and asphyxiation.
