Kathryn's most famous role was Mrs. McGillicuddy, Lucy's mother, on "I Love Lucy" from 1951-1957. She also played Minnie Finch, in an earlier episode of Lucy. Kathryns acting career lasted from 1945-64. She was the landlady in, "A Star Is Born" with Judy Garland. Her last film was "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" starring Debbie Reynolds.
